Durango Cyclery is the oldest, continuously running bike shop in Durango. We've been selling and servicing bikes for over 44 years, and we’ve always been a little funky in this old house. We’re a bike shop that’s closed on weekends - that’s odd, but we found that the vast majority of our customers(and friends) are out doing cool things(not shopping) on the weekends and we want to join ‘em. We’re a bike shop that doesn’t sell helmets - we believe in them and usually wear them, but a worthwhile selection sure does take up a lot of space, and we don’t have much of that to spare. Given the turbulent nature of the bicycle business over the last few years, we’ve shifted our focus to service, stocking the parts we need to turn repairs quickly, and a thoughtful and curated selection of essentials to maximize your experiences on the bicycle. Most of the bikes you’ll see in the store are repairs, but we special order plenty of bikes and love custom building your dream bike. Our staff is passionate about bikes, and passionate about our local community. We are proud to keep people riding and to be a part of the Durango community.
